Cat Cafe!

So during my first visit in Korea, we didn’t go to a Cat Cafe so we decided to go this time ^^

It was my first time in a cat cafe so I didn’t know what to expect. We went to one near BSX (A fashion label that G-Dragon from Big BAng endorses). The was a cute cat mascot outside, promoting the Cat Cafe~~

So we went up and once I opened the door, a kitty came out and I was so shocked and I didn’t know what to do or tell the employee. Somehow, I told her and she went to get the cat~~ You can really tell all the employees love the cats ^^

So we had to take our shoes off, and they gave us a big plastic bag to put our belongings in. (So the cats don’t ruin it) So the rule there is to buy something from their cafe, as a entrance fee. So I got Mango juice~~ ^^

The yummy Mango Juice I ordered! It was seriously good. * ∇, *

The staff there can speak basic English and there’s one who can speak it fairly well so ^^ There should be no problem with communicating with them, if you’re worried!

The whole environment of the Cafe is really nice! Very cozy, warm, comfortable. The cats there are very well behaved, and they stay still for photos! Yay! ^^

So enough of me blabbering! Here are the photos!

resaayoon asked: Hello! I'm in korea right now and I saw your post about the underground kpop shops, and I was wondering if you could clarify how to go there. I didn't take the subway but I walked from the street to exits 5&6 and the man said that there's nothing there except for the place where you take the subway. o___o Is it really in the area of exits 5&6? Can you clarify, please? ^___^ Thank you so much. :3 It would be nice if you could reply soon, I'm leaving soon. (= Thank you!

It’s inside the subway! It’s undergroud ^^

The First Shop of Coffee Prince 커피프린스 1호점

If you have watched Simonandmartina’s video, you’ll know that their experience wasn’t good. I, However did not meet the manager but once we arrived, this woman came up to us and said “You can’t take pictures unless you buy a drink.” Soooo, we just bought ourselves drinks. The drinks were a RIP OFF but the taste was still okay. Honestly speaking, the place sucked. The only good things are: the mood was nice because there wasn’t anyone there, there are signatures of the actors/actresses. Thats it.

I was extremely disappointed with the Coffee Shop. I would definitely not go again, nor do I recommend you go since it’s quite difficult to find it, the coffee/drinks aren’t a reasonable price.

But anywayssssss, here are the photos!

Conclusion:

Please don’t go if you don’t want to waste your time~~

Anonymous asked: what places do you recomend to go eat? other than the ones already there? jeongmal kamsahamida^^

I just went to random ones in Myeongdong! ㅋㅋㅋ

But there’s a really good one “이니아니”

^ I ate there on the first day. It’s super yums:) It’s Korean Barbecue~ The price is okay and the menu is also in English and people there can speak English and Chinese. I’m not sure how to get there tho T T cho seon hamnida~~

Kona Beans! ♥

KONA BEANS WAS AWESOME. PERIOD.♥

^ lol random guy holding a umbrella

The mood/feeling of the coffee shop was really nice. It felt really comfy and welcoming:) Incase you don’t know what Kona Beans is, it is a Coffee shop owned by Leeteuk, Sungmin and Kyuhyun’s moms. The shop is full of Super Junior things but it’s not overwhelming so if you don’t like Super Junior or something, it’s still okay to go. They have a range of drinks and foods. The seats are really comfortable and there are pictures of Kyuhyun, Leeteuk and Sungmin and just fangifts.

What I ordered:

Strawberry smoothie

Rate: 5/5

Taste: 5/5

Cost: 4/5

Buy again?: Definitely ^^

The drink was really nice because I personally love strawberries but I hate them if they’re sour. They made the drink sweet but it did not cover the strawberry taste. In Korea I also tried the Strawberry smoothies from Dunkin’ Donuts and Tom n Toms Coffee and honestly, they were both sour.

New York Cheesecake

Rate: 3.5/5

Taste: 3.5/5

Cost: 4/5

Buy again?: Probably not :<

The reason why I didn’t like it that much is because I don’t really like Cream Cheese. If you love Cream Cheese, this will be your heaven. It tasted good but I’m not a fan of cream cheese so I didn’t like it so much. But it’s not bad :P

Notes:

-The woman in the cashier could speak english but I sort of spoke in Korean since I wanted to improve my sucky Korean ㅋㅋㅋ

HOW TO GET THERE:

Take the subway (Jihachul/지하철) Line 3 to Apgujeong station (압구정역). Go out Exit 2, walk the opposite direction (After climbing up the stairs, turn left). Walk straight until you see Woori Bank (우리은행) and you should see Kona Beans. Here’s a photo if you have no idea what I’m saying:

And here are the photos!

Thank you for reading this! If you go to Kona Beans, I hope you’ll have great time just like how I did!~

K-pop shops in Myeongdong

If you’re a huge k-pop fan just like myself, I’m sure you would want to get some k-pop stuff during your trip in Seoul. You’ll see a lot of shops in Seoul selling k-pop stuff but they might be pricey and not as pretty looking.

Where I recommend getting k-pop stuff is the Myeongdong underground mall~ Things there look slightly nicer and also cheaper.

Here are some pictures:

The Myeongdong underground mall isn’t that big so theres only a few stores. I think I went to all of the k-pop shops there were and I had no problems with the laguage barrier.

HOW TO GET THERE:

Take the Subway (Jihachul/지하철) Line 4 to Myeongdong station (명동역) , Find the sign showing you how to go Exit 5 and 6. Swipe your T-Money card/ transportation card and stay there. You should see rows of shops.

Here are some things I got:

I super recommend going since it’s so convient and the things are cheap! After going you can go shopping in Myeongdong:)

Some more extra photos:

Myeongdong kyu ja 명동규자

Myeongdong Kyu Ja is a restaurant located in Myeongdong, famous for their mandu(만두)

They don’t have a large variety of foods to eat there, but they are all really delicious! They have Mandu(s)(만두), Naeng myeon(냉면), Myeon(Noodles/면), etc.

The food in Myeongdong Kyu Ja is super awesome so if you’re passing through Myeongdong or if you are staying there, definitely go have a look. We went twice because the food was so good~

* People there can speak English and some other languages so it’s extremely convenient *

Here are some pictures of the food we got!

(Pictures took with my iPhone so sorry for the bad qualityㄱㅅㄱ)
